Tulsi Kaadha Recipe – Herbal Drink

Tulsi Kaadha Recipe is a traditional Indian home remedy used in respiratory problems like cough and cold.

The story behind my version of Tulsi Kaadha.

“Winter is coming”, before this line was made famous by Game of Thrones, I had it running before every winter in my mind. Winter brought to me cold , cough and runny nose without fail each year. I tried everything from turmeric milk to tablets to make the runny nose go away. But it was five years back that a certain blend of ingredients worked like a charm for me. Today I reveal the secret to you all, one which has helped me and my family stay well all through winter and be fit even when most folks around us are sick during monsoon.
I call it “Cottage Chilly Cuppa”, made from everyday ingredients found in our kitchens and home gardens.

I personally love to consume the Cuppa piping hot and do not eat anything on it for next 3-4 hours.

My preferred time is to have it in night before going to bed. My personal experience is that I not only sleep well but also wake up with no stuffy or runny nose.

Have a nice Cottage Chilly Cuppa this Winter and say bye to stuffy nose and colds. This works well if you take three times a week on alternate days.

Bon Appetite, Till next time,

Love and Luc,
